Title:
Modern Induction Systems
Description:
Modern induction systems have become a complex interconnected system on today's engine. This clinic is designed to help technicians develop a tactical process that will help improve productivity in the service bay and establish diagnostic confidence in an ever-changing automotive world. Induction systems include many sub-systems such as IMRC (intake manifold runner control), Variable Lift, Variable Cam Timing systems, Displacement on Demand systems, use of superchargers/turbochargers and electronic wastegate control systems. All of these systems must seamlessly work together. We will explain these latest technologies while demonstrating proven diagnostic and testing strategies. Systems covered include the Chrysler Multi-Air system, GM Active Fuel Management, Honda Variable Cylinder Management along with a variety of turbocharged/gasoline directed injected platforms.
